GT16 18002 EMD 2400hp (derated to 2250 hp) Co-Co, class WDM4 at Varanasi February 15, 1998 by Larry Russell. These are passenger engines on the Northern Railway stabled at Mughal Sarai. Some have been retired, all are dual controlled and have dynamic brakes in the short hood. This is the export version of the SD24.
