EMD 1997 / 4000 GT46MAC on flat car en-route to Pueblo Colorado test track. Unit will become Indian Railways 12001. EMD 16-710G3B-EC engine rated 4000 hp. Co-Co trucks are new design and were not ready at that time. Photo taken at Kansas City.
