TRA R164 EMD G22CU 1500 hp Co-Co. July 26, 1997. Taken in Hsin-Ma Station. Note that the coach after the locomotive was orange. Those locomotive looks best with these orange coaches. In fact, Taiwan Railway Administration painted all their locomotives into orange because of these coaches. The coaches are called Chu-Kwang in Chinese. Other coaches on the pictures look best with the locomotives with old blue painting scheme, but none of the locomotives in Taiwan are still blue nowadays. These old coaches don't have air conditioning, and are called "ordinary" cars. They may dissappear in Taiwan soon. Photo by Glenn Kao.
